Creative Non-Fiction
The principles of good story telling apply, whether you write fiction or non-fiction. Rebecca will share the lessons she’s learned by submitting and writing true stories for Guideposts anthologies. She will share about the opportunities available, how to craft a story summary, the pros and cons of working with this publisher, and the challenge of ghostwriting. She will also share the lessons she’s learned through the process of recording and independently publishing the audio version of her non-fiction book on marriage.
Rebecca D. Bruner is a multi-published author, Bible teacher, and conference speaker. Her non-fiction book, A Wife of Valor: Your Strategic Importance in God’s Battle Plan, was a 2017 finalist for the Excellence in Editing Award. Her non-fiction stories have appeared in Living the Word and Wrapped in His Protection from Guidepost Books. Two more are scheduled for publication in upcoming volumes of the Angels in Our Lives series from Guideposts Books. She has served as CWOW’s treasurer for many years.
