CHRISTIAN WRITERS OF THE WEST
Welcome to CWOW!  We are a group of Christian authors located in the greater Phoenix area, with  memberships spanning  from Benson, to Gilbert, to Sun City West, and six more Arizona cities. We usually meet the second Saturday of the month and strive to grow our knowledge from workshops on craft, to website building, to "Do I need an agent?" Our authors are seasoned (30+ published works) to intermediate (3+ multiple published works) to beginning (I'm going to see my first publication soon).  Walk through the door to our meeting, you will shake hands with traditionally published, self-published, hybrid, and even cartoonists.

*Most meetings are in-person but we do an occasional Zoom, so check by to see what's happening.
*Guests can attend one meeting without joining the National organization.
*To join the national organization, please visit the website for American Christian Fiction Writers
* After joining Nationals, to join CWOW, please go to the member page, fill out the form.  Cost is $15.
We meet in person from 11:00-1:00 pm

Author Karen Witemeyer - Zoom Meeting

Deep POV
After growing up in California, Karen moved to Texas to attend Abilene Christian University where she earned bachelor and master's degrees in Psychology. It was also there that she met and married her own Texas hero. He roped her in good, for she has lived in Texas ever since. In fact, she fell so in love with this rugged land of sweeping sunsets and enduring pioneer spirit, that she incorporates it into the pages of her novels, setting her stories in the small towns of a state that burgeoned into greatness in the mid- to late1800s.
A life-long bookworm, Karen is living her dream by writing novels. Her books have consistently hit bestseller lists and have garnered numerous awards
